Kathmandu District Police arrests 155 people for involvement in criminal activities

KATHMANDU, Dec 31: District Police Office, Kathmandu has arrested 155 people involved in criminal activities in a period of six months.

The Kathmandu police arrested 155 people involved in criminal activities during the period from July to December of the current fiscal year (FY 2022/23).

Spokesperson for the District Police Office, Kathmandu, Superintendent of Police (SP) Dinesh Raj Mainali said that 155 people have been arrested and presented before the court.

Spokesperson Mainali said that the court has slapped a total imprisonment of 29 years, five months and six days for the arrestees. Similarly, they have been charged fines of Rs 294, 49,756 altogether.
